I have always loved painting and drawing wildlife in the natural environment. However, I no longer consider myself to be a "wildlife artist." That category is too confining for me. I still love to paint wildlife because of the connection to the animals and wild places that I feel. Often it is hard for me to separate the categories of Wildlife art and Landscape art, as they naturally overlap.
