Future Artistic Goals

I think that the strength of my figures and animal gestures is evident in my current work. I can draw well, and I can draw from my imagination. Therefore, if I am familiar with a subject, I can recall it and draw it in any position without the aid of photographs.

In the future, I want to exploit that strength by sculpting, perhaps in clay and stone, and casting in bronze. I would like to spend time in Europe studying art history and classical techniques. One of my most remarkable skills is my versatility. I believe that I can learn and master almost any form and medium. Therefore I want to try everything while keeping a firm grounding in painting and drawing. I want to improve my considerable drawing ability with emphasis on portraiture and figures. I will always depict animals in movement because I love it. That is life drawing—my calling.
